Chapter 7 World war two : Battle for Carentan

Here we are again in the middle of a gunfight, I was hiding in a fridge and who knows were Rhino and NJ went. I  held my M1 Garand close to my chest and also felt my rocket launcher pinned up to my back. I layed my Garand on a shelf. I then jumped out of the fridge and shot the rocket. Rhino was crouching behind a box with a springfield and NJ was on a box causing chaos with his Thompson. I landed hard on my knee and rolled out of the way of a grenade. Me, NJ and Rhino sneak out of the fight to reclaim the four German bases. Rhino went inside a building to snipe any stray German soldiers. I also had my M1 Garand I grabbed it from the fridge just as we were leaving. NJ and I were on our own now. I threw a smoke grenade ,so me and NJ will have cover from enemy snipers.  I  saw movement in a building and threw a grenade. A second later a couple German block legs came flying out the window.  Finally we were at one base I rushed forward just as NJ said "we need to stay together" suddenly I felt a searing pain in my left leg and I tripped and fell. Another Canadian soldier crouched beside me with a medical kit. He bandaged up my leg. " Watch out for snipers " he said. Then at that exact moment he fell apart. "you watch out for snipers" I whispered ducking behind a building. Then NJ was running as fast as he could through the field of sniper rifle bullets. He fell and five bullets hit him in the back. "NJ" I screamed. Somebody tapped me on the back I turned around and saw NJ standing there. Oh yeah I captured the base so NJ respawned I forgot. My class was engineer meaning I had a bazooka, a M1 Garand and a big knife. Also I had grenades, Smoke grenades.
" How are we going to get out of here alive" I asked NJ
"well we could just go and die then respawn somewhere else"
"Nah, I Don't like dying"
So I searched around the building and found a maintenance ladder in the back of the house.
" Come on NJ" I yelled
" we can surprise the snipers" NJ said excitedly
"duh" I answered
So we climbed up the ladder and knifed the snipers in the back .
Then we threw grenades into the other sniper buildings (Not Rhino's building)
and watched the explosions.
We walked down the stairs and met up with the rest of the Canadian soldiers.
